Crowned lady, queen

Named after my Nan, "Queenie", who loved to wear elegant shawls wrapped around her neck like royalty.

This shawl is knit sideways and can be adapted to make full use of any skein of laceweight yarn.

49 cm (19 in) deep at widest point and 172 cm (70 in) long

2 ply lace weight yarn.

Shown in Garthenor Organic Pure Wool: 100% Organic Shetland wool, 660 m (715 yds) in 100g, colour way Pale Grey

Gauge:

23 sts and 48 rows in 10 cm x 10 cm (4 in x 4 in) measured over Garter st
