Frequently Asked Questions

What is a PDF?

A PDF is a 'portable document format' and is a file type that is supported by all computer platforms and operating systems. To be able to read these files you will need to download Adobe Reader or a similar PDF reading software. All ePatterns are provided in PDF format and other formats are not currently available.

After following the download links, you will be asked to either open or save the file. Click on the 'open file' option and your pattern will appear on your monitor  if you have PDF software installed (see above).  From there, click the save option in the 'File' sub-menu and save the file to your computer. You can print the pattern by clicking the print option in the 'File' sub-menu.

If you are having problems opening or saving the files please make sure you have the most up-to-date version of your PDF reading software.

How do I get paper copies?

You can currently only purchase PDF ePatterns on this website but I will be selling paper copies of patterns wholesale to yarn stores. Please enquire at your local yarn store if you wish them to stock my patterns. Kits contain a printed copy of the relevant pattern and tutorials.

Downloading ePatterns

Immediately after payment, you will be sent an email with a download link to the pattern(s) you have purchased via an automated system. Click on the link to access your pattern. Please make sure you use a valid email address when purchasing. If the link has not arrived within 30 minutes please check your junk folder. Please note that if an eCheque is used this may take a few days for the funds to arrive and the download link will only be sent once the funds have been received.

I am not a member of Ravelry

I use the Ravelry cart to process all payments of ePatterns, however there is no need to be a member to purchase, the download link will be sent to your PayPal email address. If you are a member you will be given the opportunity to sign in when you have completed your purchase if you would like to add the pattern to your Ravelry library.
