A cute little cuckoo to welcome spring

This chubby little cuckoo would make a great gift and friend!

Knitted flat and seamed, he uses short-row shaping to form his round belly and wings. He is easy and quick to knit in chunky yarn. Keep the spring sunshine in your life with this cheeky cuckoo!

One size measuring 23 cm (9″) by 15 cm (6″)

Yarn:

Chunky weight yarn with a small amount of yellow fingering weight yarn for beak detail

Shown in Wendy Merino Chunky (65m per 50g ball; 100% wool), colourways MC: pumice 2472 (light grey), CC1: cloud 2470 (white), CC2: soot 2477 (dark grey), and Wendy Mode Chunky (140m per 100g ball; 50% wool & 50% acrylic), colourways CC3: coal 220 (black).
